Egyptian poet Abdul Rahman Yusuf 's website was penetrated today by some professional hackers which led to a complete shutdown of the website for several hours.
It was clear that the hackers were attempting to destroy the website's video library, which includes a large collection of Yusuf's poem that he recited on different occasions, including political meetings in Cairo and other Egyptian governorates as well as different Arab capitals.
The attempt was aborted and the website engineers were able to re-run it again in a few hours’ time.
When asked about the accident, Yusuf accused the Egyptian security.
