Egyptian poet Abdel Rahman Youssef participated in the “Egyptians against exporting gas to Israel” conference, which took place in the lawyers’ Syndicate Club in Alexandria on Friday, June 27th, 2008.
The poet recited many poems that truly moved the attendees. Many of the poet’s fans were keen to get his signature on his poetic collections at the end of the conference.
The conference was attended by many prominent opposition figures as well as a big number of people from Alexandria and the surrounding governorates.
